The trip takes you via Germany and Denmark to the Danish harbor town of Hirtshals for the crossing to Bergen Norway by night ferry.
The next morning the boat sails the beautiful vibrant Bergen, Norway's second largest city. The skyline is overwhelming with a very varied skyline with mountains in the background.
From Bergen to Skei which is located on the lake Jølstavatnet with a view of the snowy peaks of Grovabreen. The Jolster Panorama campsite is a new campsite with very good facilities. The route then crosses the
Aurlandsfjellet National tourist route, it is important to take the Fv 243 at the T-junction in Lærdalsøyri and not the RV 5 otherwise you will miss the route over the mountain and you should not miss that, at the end of the mountain route is the Stegestein for a beautiful view over the Aurlandsfjord. Flåm is located at the end of the fjord which is about 29 km long. The leaves from Flåm Flåm Railway one of the most beautiful routes in the world.
The next destination is Odda, Odda is located against the Folgefonna Nasjonal Park, a very varied hike takes you to the Beuerbreen glacier.
The E 134 leads through another beautiful landscape, in Røldal you can admire the famous Stave Church. via the RV 9 it goes to Kristiansand, on the way at the Flateland camping we have an overnight stay. It is no exaggeration to say that every kilometer of driving through Norway is a joy.
Kristiansand is a medium-sized city with some very hospitable restaurants at the Fiskebrygga near the beautifully designed Kilder teater og konserthus.
From Kristiansand it is a 2 and a half hour ride with the fast catamaran boat back to Hirtshals in Denmark
